Capacitas Welcomes Andy Caddy

We are very pleased to announce that Andy Caddy has been appointed today to the board of Capacitas as a non-executive director. With Andy's experience we will continue to hone our methodologies to stay relevant to what our clients want and more importantly, need. We have years of working with Andy, where his leadership skills and experience have demonstrated great results in high-profile businesses.

Andy is previously Group CIO at Virgin Active where he was a member of the Virgin Active Group Executive. During his time in this role, Andy held responsibility for Digital and IT strategy across the nine countries that form Virgin Active Group, as well as managing the Information Technology delivery within the European operation. Prior to working with Virgin Active, Andy held a number of senior roles at easyJet PLC including CTO where he delivered their award-winning mobile easyJet app and one of the busiest eCommerce sites in Europe. Previous companies Andy worked with also include Cable & Wireless, NatWest Group, and Argos.

Capacitas Chief Executive, Andy Bolton, said: “Andy Caddy will bring us a wealth of advice from his experience operating at board level at Virgin Active and advising the board at easyJet and elsewhere. His experience in a number of high-profile businesses will improve our understanding of the needs of our customers and prospects. We have worked with him for 13 years as a customer and now look forward to receiving his advice and experience on a regular basis.”

On his appointment, Andy Caddy said: “I have worked with the Capacitas team for many years and recognise the considerable level of expertise they bring to their domain. I look forward to working with them more closely in this role.”

Andy is a regular speaker on the changing role of the CIO, IoT and big data in fitness, and inspiring a modern technology workforce.
