Business Capacity Management

The IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) has become the ubiquitous Service Management framework. ITIL has been the leading advocate of business-focussed Service Management, introducing it to many organisations. As a vital part of Service Management is Capacity Management, ITIL has aligned this with the business with the Business Capacity Management (BCM) sub-process.

However ITIL does not cover Business Capacity Management as enthusiastically or comprehensively as it does with other processes and so loses an opportunity to prove the value of Capacity Management as a business-facing IT process. This seminar provides a more thorough explanation of what Capacitas believes the Business Capacity Management sub-process should be, based on our experience delivering Business Capacity Management to our clients.

This seminar is designed to:

  • Describe Business Capacity Management and how to undertake it
  • Demonstrate the value of Business Capacity Management to your organisation
