Performance Testing Services

"Capacitas provides a performance testing consultation and outsourced testing service for easyJet. A rapid agile development methodology results in a narrow time window for performance testing each release. Capacitas, in partnership with the easyJet testing team, engage early on in the project development lifecycle. This ensures as smooth as possible transition through each stage; conceptual design, risk assessment, test planning, scripting and performance testing to production release. By ensuring all phases of performance testing are planned upfront, it is possible to deliver risk mitigation within a very narrow test window. A two-pronged testing strategy using baselines and targeted testing is employed. This cost-effective testing approach is driven by risk. Testing is combined with capacity and performance modelling techniques which are used to extrapolate what the test results mean for the production system, giving us confidence in our decision making. I would highly recommend Capacitas to other organisations for their performance testing needs."

"Capacitas were engaged at very short notice (48 hours notice). Scottish Water required external assistance to investigate performance issues within 2 key corporate production applications, one of which is unique to the utilities sector and as such, presented quite a different challenge to Capacitas.

Tight deadlines review needed to be completed within 3 weeks, with solid conclusions and recommendations.

The exercise was conducted in a professional and structured manner. As a result, the work was completed within the timescales specified and the conclusions clearly communicated and reported. As a true sign of professionalism, there was a high degree of follow through even after exercise was completed at no cost !!
