Job Description – Capacity & Performance Principal Consultant – French speaking

Pay: £60K-£80K, based on experience

Location: London/Paris/Brussels

The role requires a confident Capacity & Performance Principal Consultant with fluent French language skills. The successful candidate must have at least 5 years experience in a performance and capacity role and be confident in presenting to an audience in English and French. The consultant will have a range of technical skills:

• Capacity and performance expertise, e.g. demand forecasting, modelling, etc.;
• Platform expertise in as many of the following as possible:
• IBM (Mainframe, AS/400);
• Unix variants (e.g. Solaris, Linux, AIX);
• Windows Servers (e.g. Exchange, SQL, SharePoint);
• SANs;
• TCP/IP networks;
• Virtualisation;
• Excellent Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.

The role is based from the London office but will primarily serve the French and Belgian markets so will involve considerable travel. The consultant will be the primary contact for our customers in these markets and will lead both sales opportunities and project engagements. Therefore the consultant must be experienced in the technical role and also must be capable of inspiring confidence in the customers. In addition the consultant will be expected to undertake sales and marketing activities such as presenting at conferences and writing local language variant marketing material. ITIL experience will be highly advantageous and additional training will be provided as necessary.
