Capacitas is a UK-based technology consulting, training services and business process outsourcing company focussed on ICT performance, capacity and cost.

Our Company

Since its inception in January 2002 Capacitas has attracted customers from many top UK and international companies through delivery of our unique expertise and technical knowledge, recognising concerns such as performance, cost and growth. The success of Capacitas has been built on more than 100 years of ICT industry experience that our staff have in the delivery of quality solutions, frequently with challenging timescales and budgets. Our staff's experience has been gathered from involvement in some of the largest ICT project rollouts globally, including a number of projects larger than £100m.

Our Business

Capacitas recognises the importance of ICT service performance to the contemporary business. The reliance on technology in the modern economy is never as noticeable as when it cannot meet the business requirements, preventing businesses from operating effectively, or causing them to fail completely. Central to all ICT success is service performance, which is the successful application of several associated disciplines concurrently; system architecture and design, application development, capacity planning and management, service level management, availability management, financial management and business continuity management.

At Capacitas we specialise in performance engineering and capacity planning of ICT applications and infrastructure across the entire end-to-end lifecycle, from concept, design and development, through live usage to decommissioning. We help our customers to fully realise their potential by meeting their business objectives whilst ensuring appropriate ICT investment.

Our People

We employ industry experts with recognised technical and business skills to assist our customers with their ICT projects, help them overcome their challenges and achieve their strategies and objectives.

Although Capacitas staff focus on the core disciplines of performance and capacity we have a range of skills covering the important relationships with other business and technical disciplines. We have grown from 3 consultants in 2002 to 16 consultants in 2007 and expect similar growth in the future to meet our customers' demands.
